Gough are recruiting for a position scheduled for the new year - working on behalf of a National Builder, with an excellent reputation and quality in the Queensland and wider Australian Market.  We are looking for a solid and dependable Contract Administrator for high volume Townhouse projects around Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

The Role And Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Project Manager
  • Ongoing cost reporting and budgeting to ensure
  • Negotiation of trades, tender agreements, materials and required services
  • Management of sub-contract variations and claims
  • Liaisons with project Estimation team, local authorities and government departments
  • Ensure work practices and contracts meet stringent QBCC guidelines
  • Work through the full life cycle of the project 
  • Management of relevant building approvals & documentation
  • Ensuring quality work practices and high detailed level of finishes
The Successful Candidate will have:
  • Degree or equivalent in Construction Management / Project Management
  • Prior experience with high volume Residential Townhouse Projects
  • Fully conversant with all relevant QBCC legislation and requirements
  • Proven experience managing projects ideally to $15-20M and above
  • Excellent time management & communication skills
  • Attention to detail and be able to work autonomously
