A large services provider in the CBD is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer. Short term contract for busy role!

The Organisation
A large services organisation in the heart of the Brisbane CBD has an opportunity for a full-function Accounts Receivable Officer for an urgent temporary position that will commence immediately for the right person.  The role will be for 3 months and could run much longer. This urgent position has come about due to expansion within the business.  You will be reporting into the Finance Manager who is well respected in the business and very supportive of her staff.  
 
The Position:
This is a varied account receivable role that will require someone who is proactive, a good problem solver and who is results-focused. You will be responsible for account reconciliations, allocating and receipting payments, banking and ad hoc project work to support the accounts team.  Although the accounts team has proven internal processes in place, the Manager is keen to bring on board an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who is able to identify areas for improvement to help take the team to the next level.

  • High volume Receivable role
  • Mainly processing bank statement and reconcilements
  • End to end skillset required to manage the process effectively
Your Profile:
To truly thrive in this busy role, you will need to demonstrate substantial experience in a full function Accounts Receivable position working in busy, full function accounts receivable role for a large organisation.  Excellent Excel skills will be critical to allow you to work through high transactional volume reconciliations. Experience using vlookups will be critical for you to perform to a high standard in this role.  You will need to be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in SAP will be a requisite for the role.
