Our client is a global leader in their therapeutic speciality, known for innovation and leading the market in customer service. An exciting opportunity to join their dynamic sales team is now available for a Business Development Manager managing a Melbourne territory with  a country region.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager,  you will utilise your strong sales background and the ability to generate new business alongside maintaining key relationships with existing clients to grow market share.

Responsibilities will be to:
  • Maintain strong relationships with all key customers 
  • Develop an annual plan for your territory while implementing the company objectives
  • Use promotional marketing and campaign initiatives to drive new business and boost existing sales in your assigned region
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports and analysis from your designated region to maximise sales growth and market share
  • Manage your inventory stock levels at all times in line with the business practice
  • Maintain a high level of accurate notes and data in each customer record in the CRM system
  • Stay in the loop with the market activities and industry knowledge to scope out any opportunities
  • Uphold the core values and culture of the business at all times 
The Successful Applicant will have:
  • Relevant Bachelors degree in business or similar 
  • Sales experience within OTC/ Pharmaceuticals/optical or dental
  • Highly motivated & business focused person
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Exceptional negotiating skills within a professional environment
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
