P&N Bank is seeking a Business Analyst (BA) to join our busy Projects team on a 12-month maximum term contract basis.
Reporting into a Project Manager – Delivery Lead you will be responsible for the analysis of business change and delivery via projects within an exciting Digital Transformation Program.

The role supports the Project Manager and project team through the delivery of key BA artefacts (e.g. gap analysis, requirements gathering, current vs. future state, test strategy, test plan, user stories etc.) and providing support to the PM whilst maintaining PMM governance and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities will include;
  • Gathering of Business Requirements / Use Cases / User Stories
  • Analysis of current state vs. future state, requirements gathering to translate technical change to business process or perform gap analysis to understand solutions required
  • Identification and prioritisation of user and system requirements
  • Support of the Project Manager in delivery of project activities and documentation e.g. development of business case, implementation documents, updating / creating business processes etc.
  • Development of test strategies, plans, use cases and conduct testing of change
To be successful in this key role you will require:
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in business analysis with exposure to different delivery approaches e.g. waterfall and agile
  • Understanding of and experience in business analysis across the full project lifecycle
  • Experience working on digital transformation, customer experience and process improvement projects is desirable as well as understanding of IT projects
  • Strong interpersonal / communication skills coupled with an understanding of the importance of stakeholder engagement and relationship building
  • Understanding and experience in Business Analysis techniques and Project Management Methodologies within the context of delivering project changes
In addition, experience in business process improvement methodologies and an understanding of Risk and Change Management methodologies would be highly regarded.
