This role will sit as part of the wider product and marketing team.

The Role
The Digital Marketing Manager will manage the strategic direction and growth of the digital marketing function across the business’s portfolio of premium brands. You'll partner with Brand and Category Managers to drive sales and lead generation, and to facilitate the quality of the customer lifecycle, category growth, and revenue.  

This is a new role to the business, and therefore you will have the opportunity to really make a quick and lasting impact. A key strategic position and the Digital Marketing Manager will be required to play an integral part in overseeing the following:
  • Lift of digital capabilities (website, email, content and eCommerce)
  • Managing data-driven, digital communications 
  • Management of owned digital channels
  • Delivering eCommerce initiatives
  • Testing and reporting on digital acquisition and retention campaigns
  • New product launches
  • Optimising digital advertising activity and spend 
  • Line management of the Digital Content Manager 
  • Management of external, third party agency relationships 
  • Presenting to and influencing digital objectives to senior stakeholders and varying business units
  • Participating and contributing to the broader Group Digital forum and initiatives
Skills & Experience 
The ideal candidate will have come from a Consumer Goods or FMCG background, with core skills in analytical, consumer marketing. You'll also have the following:  
  • Solid agency relationship experience
  • Extensive experience managing digital marketing campaigns from start to finish, with experience in producing digital marketing strategy
  • Technically very capable and familiar with all core digital disciplines, including web development, Performance Media, SEO, Content and Social, Reputation Management and Reporting
  • Experience in influencing and presenting back to peers and stakeholders
  • Experience working across a multiple-brand portfolio, and with more than one eCommerce website
  • Ideally will have line-management experience; and have the right qualities to coach those around you
  • Passionate about self-development, proactively seeking out opportunities to keep across new industry trends or technologies
  • Experience working in a KPI driven environment, and across multiple project workflows
  • Outcome focused, and confident in making decisions without necessarily having all of the information
