My client is a national company with a wide range of earthmoving equipment for both sale and hire. They specialise in a variety of different markets throughout Australia and have a growing market share within the Construction, Building, Civil, Government, and Utility industries. You will be set up for success with a dedicated customer service team and first-class technical aftersales support. They continue to show growth in this competitive but lucrative market.
This is an opportunity for a driven Account Manager / BDM to build capacity within a buoyant Sales and Service Market and take ownership of their territory. Work closely with all customers, prospective and existing, in a supportive and consultative manner adopting a ‘total solution’ selling approach.

The Role
  • This role requires someone with a proven track record of delivering results in the hire or sale of earthmoving equipment
  • Proactively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling and prospecting for new business
  • Developing, nurturing, and managing relationships in an existing network of customers within the territory
  • Identify, track and pursue tender opportunities
  • Prepare and distribute pricing proposals
  • Track and communicate projects to ensure the relationship continues
  • Maintaining a strong profile in the customer’s eyes throughout the territory including regular face-to-face calls to key customers.
  • Manage customer inquiries about products, delivery, schedules, prices, finance options, etc.
  • Earn commission on every machine you sell, both new and used
