Here is your foot in the door with a multinational insurance company who have a newly created role for a Head of Operations – Claims. With a growing portfolio of boutique challenger brands, this role will see you use your extensive experience and knowledge to create an effective, efficient, customer centric claims handling operation.

  • A critical business function, this role is a member of the senior management team, reporting directly to the CEO
  • Leading the claims function, this role is responsible for optimising opportunities for automation that leads to efficiencies and a seamless customer experience
  • Using data analysis, this role is a problem solver, identifying gaps, inefficient work processes and opportunities to adopt and create industry best practice in motor claims
  • This role is responsible for implementing strategic business objectives through excellent stakeholder communication and engagement
  • As a key leadership role, this role requires mentoring and coaching of team members to ensure engagement, growth and high productivity
The experience and skills we are looking for…
  • Minimum 10 years experience in motor claims, plus 5 years or more in senior motor claims management
  • Demonstrated understanding of retail insurance policy and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of process change, preferably in automation or workflow simplification
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams to meet or exceed KPIs
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse claims and business data to make appropriate recommendations for process improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret business strategy and objectives into actionable, measurable projects and initiatives
