Our client needs a Statutory Mechanical Engineer who can share improvement ideas for the overall benefit of multiple mine sites and be responsible for the statutory compliance of all fixed and mobile mechanical plant.

Responsibilities include:
  • Overall mechanical statutory operations compliance to the site MECP, relevant legislation and site procedures
  • Work closely with the Mechanical Engineers across multiple sites
  • Assist the Site Maintenance Manager in coordinating their work scope and activities
  • Drive continuous improvement and help entrench a continuous improvement mind set
  • Promote and demonstrate integrity, safety, people value outcomes
  
About you
You are a seasoned mechanical engineer with relevant qualifications to hold a statutory position in an NSW coal mine and come from a strong background in mining. You’ll be searching for a broad, hands-on role where you can utilise your critical thinking skills and strong knowledge of the relevant NSW legislation for coal mining. You are extremely organised, and have strong time management skills.
