Part Time Office Manager

We are growing and are excited to offer the opportunity for someone to join our team as an Office Manager on a part time basis (prefer 20 hours per week). This newly created role is responsible for providing an exceptional office management to our business.  If you are someone who enjoys a fast-paced and busy office environment - this could be the job for you!

Duties and responsibilities
  • General office management tasks
  • Inputting, raising and matching invoices 
  • Investigating and resolving disputed invoices
  • Manage contractor timesheets, making payments to contractors and invoices to clients for contractors.
  • Emailing accountants weekly update on contractor hours for IRD
  • Manage staff holidays / sick leave in conjunction with accountants
  • Responding to supplier inquiries
  • Producing reports and assisting with month end closing
  • Stand alone admin role so other admin tasks to support the business may come up
  • Calculate monthly commissions for consultants from payments received
  • Maintain a record of all contractors and client contracts
  • Cross reference weekly payroll with accountants
Skills and experience
  • Proven background in Office management
  • AP / AR experience 
  • Be a quick learner 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A sense of initiative and desire to make things happen and add value
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Experience using Microsoft excel, word and outlook
  • A friendly, down to earth nature and must enjoy working as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
