This supportive & resourceful aged care organisation is seeking a Quality Assessor (Registered Nurse) to work across their Residential and Community aged care facilities in NSW. This is an opportunity to play an integral role within this exceptional senior aged care management team that puts innovation & service delivery at the forefront of their business operations.  

We are therefore seeking an experienced Quality Assessor to provide leadership to ensure appropriate industry accreditation standards are identified, addressed and met. Reporting to the Head of Quality and working in unison with key staff across the organisation, the prime focus of this role is to support the groups on site managers ensuring that there is a culture of continuous quality improvement.
You will be within a team of Quality Assessors. Responsible for completing Desk Top Audits and site visits for their Residential facilities and Home Care Centres. A region will be allocated according to where you live, therefore you can be based anywhere in NSW (option to work from home OR at your local residential facility / Home Care Centre). Further required to support Managers with accreditation preparation.
This role will be based in NSW and will require travel to neighbouring sites on a regular basis.

The Requirements:
  • Valid AHPRA registration - Div 1
  • At least 5 years experience in quality management
  • Expert knowledge of the Aged Care accreditation process
  • Excellent understanding of quality assurance
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & leadership skills
  • A passion for Aged Care
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle. 
  • Valid Police Clearance
  • A background as an Agency Quality Assessor would be highly regarded
  • Community or Residential background
