We have a Facility Manager role with an extremely successful provider of health & aged care services with a focus on providing residents with an industry leading standard of care and accommodation.

THE ROLE:

The purpose of the position is to run the home with responsibilities including but not limited to resident care, staff management, accreditation, ACFI funding and continuous quality improvement:

  • Undertake and manage direct resident care, having participated fully in the assessment, planning and evaluation of care needs. 
  • Manage the delivery of care - with the support of the management team, overview and manage all aspects of day to day running of a residential home, including promoting the safeguarding of the service user's welfare whilst promoting independence & diversity to ensure individual needs are met.
  • Mentor, support and develop staff, including supervision and appraisal to maximise their performance and ensure high standards of care, values, ethical standards, equality and diversity, policies and procedures, legislation contractual and inspection framework requirements are met.
  • Daily management, motivation and supervision of residents and staff.
  • A good understanding of the changing landscape of Aged Care.
  • Provide operational support for the redesign, development, implementation and continuous improvement of the organisations operations to ensure a consistently excellent service

THE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1
  • Excellent Aged Care Management experience - this is a senior role
  • Demonstrated clinical care & staff leadership skills
  • Experience in managing large homes
  • Excellent experience with high care residents
  • Valid Police Check
