Senior Policy & Project Officer - Clinical Care

You will lead research and policy projects relating to best practice in clinical care.

  • 6 Month Contrac (Possible Extension)
  • Up to $70 per hour Plus Super
  • Sydney CBD Location
This role will be a key part of a close knit and supportive team of highly specialised policy professionals charged with delivering research and policy in the area of best practice in clinical care. 

Key Project Areas:

The Senior Policy and Project Officer will manage policy and research based projects relating to clinical care standards. Current projects for the team could include work relating to: anti-microbial stewardship, sepsis and anaphylaxis. 

Responsibilities: 
Reporting to the Director, Clinical Care Standards, the Senior Project Officer will undertake high level research and project management across key projects.
You will be responsible for:
Undertaking research  and analysis including engaging expert opinions to provide information to support the delivery of projects; 
Working with key stakeholders including managing committees to develop insights into best practice in this critical area;
Undertaking the end-to-end procurement and project & contract management for a range of professional services which support the deliver of key projects;

To be Successful in your Application:
You will demonstrate outstanding writing and communication skills including a high level of policy and project expertise in health care, ideally in a related area. Clinical experience will be highly regarded.
