The Company

Our client is a leading contract manufacturer specialising in solutions for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. They have an excellent track record in this market and have partnered with some of Australia’s most well-known brands. The business has continuously invested in technology and innovation and are one of the fortunate businesses that have performed strongly during Covid-19. They have an opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to work with current and potential customers in this sector.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager Sales, you will build relationships with key businesses within the pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals market. Key responsibilities include:
  • Strategically grow and develop this market by securing new business and developing existing clients
  • Work intimately with customers to understand business impacts and key objectives, as well as understand the commercial outputs and opportunities
  • Develop and manage tender processes with customers
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service levels to your customer base
Your Background
  • The role will suit an experienced Key Account Manager or Business Development Manager with strong experience working for a contract manufacturer and preferably an existing network within the pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals sector
  • Proven experience developing new business with large national customers
  • You will be naturally influential and work effectively with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
