The Company:

Our client is a growing and highly innovative food company that has recently expanded its branded and private label offering. With leading brands in a number of categories the business is now looking to execute growth within the key retailers and expand their product offering. This is an opportunity with a business having a major impact across the Australian food industry.
The Role:

As the National Business Manager you will lead the Woolworths account team, develop the strategy, drive profitability, revenue and market share across the entire product portfolio. This will be achieved by having a high level of commercial nous and by building outstanding relationships across the Woolworths business. Key responsibilities include:
  • Grow the Woolworths account through the current portfolio and look for opportunity with the acquired products.
  • Drive profitability by understanding COGs, promotional strategy and margin objectives
  • Set the strategy and partner with Marketing and Category teams.
  • Lead cross functional teams to drive category and brand growth.
  • Build strong relationships with senior management in Woolworths based on trust and mutual benefit and value
  • Identify new opportunities and potential threats
  • Lead a small high potential team with a focus on developing your bench strength.
Your Background:

Ideally tertiary qualified with a strong National Business Management background. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to drive profit and maximise space and positioning across a grocery portfolio. You will have a strong track history of building relationships with senior management within a large retailer ideally Woolworths.
You will have exceptional negotiation skills and proven ability in developing and executing business plans with a strong category focus. A large part of your success will come from your ability to influence and lead a large number of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
