The Company

Our client is an industry leader in the food manufacturing industry who make some of our longest standing and most iconic food products. They continue to experience fantastic growth and as such, are now looking to hire a business critical, plant based position of Manufacturing Manager.

The Role
  • Execute workload requirements within the manufacturing division whilst working to KPI’s outlined by the GM of Operations.
  • Deliver training and development to manufacturing leaders and fostering a high performance culture.
  • Optimising resource use, minimising costs, mentoring staff and maintaining OH&S and quality standards.
  • Drive 5S business project through managing individual projects and educating culture change within the production department.
  • Working with key stakeholders to understand areas of improvement using both statistical analysis and operator feedback to develop projects and improve production efficiencies.

Your Background
  • Strong experience within a large scale food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problems solving skills, with the ability to utilize sophisticated problem solving techniques and implement corrective actions.
  • Proven leadership qualities or experience with the ability to hold people accountable to KPI’s and challenge current standard.
  • In-depth understanding of operations; optimizing process, efficiency gains and running RCA’s projects.
