The Company

This manufacturing business has delivered excellent results through a strong focus on reducing cost with improved processes to supply customers with their premium product.
This role will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing a suitable RCM programme which will support the site growth strategy and ensure a focus on improving reliability of equipment through a combination of predictive and preventative based maintenance approaches.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Maintenance Manager and also working closely with the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis into production losses, abnormally high maintenance costs and repetitive failures and identify root causes and implement corrective actions to reduce or eliminate issues.
  • Train and develop reliability best practices across reliability and operations teams, to integrate the standards and approaches into their day to day functions.
  • Managing the asset lifecycle and CMMS system for existing and new assets across the site.
  • Providing expert advice and assistance of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and providing insight into these areas.
  • Champion the organisations reliability centered maintenance program and principles.
  • Developing and implementing the R&M strategy for the site.
  • Driving change management and continuing on the path of preventative maintenance and reducing machine downtime.
  • One of the key focusses will also be managing system compliance and integrity and providing training to your group on the CMMS system.
Your Background

To be successful, you will be degree or trade qualified and have a proven background in reliability and maintenance from a large scale manufacturing environment. You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to work through change and drive preventative maintenance with exceptional communication and leadership skills. Those with experience in food manufacturing will be looked at favourably.
