The Company

Our client is an Australian owned and operated recreation vehicle business, their products have a long tradition of providing value and quality. They are number one in their field and have gone through a huge growth phase over the last 12 months. Due to their substantial growth a brand new opportunity has popped up to lead a team and drive efficiency across their site. 

The Role

The key responsibilities of this role are as follows;
  • Manage a team across inventory and stock control. Taking a proactive approach in training and educating staff on best inventory best practice. 
  • Eliminate part shortages by working cross functionally across production and supply chain. 
  • Improve inventory placement and identification.
  • Improve the goods flow throughout the site from receiving through to delivery. 
  • Investigate solutions to reduction of material waste. 
  • Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities. Improving layout and efficiency. 
  • Ensure KPIs around DIFOT are met consistently. 
Your Background

Key requirements for this role are;

•  5+ Years experience of materials management.
•  Experience of working in an industrial manufacturing environment. 
•  Proven examples of improving materials efficiency. 
•  Engaging and collaborative approach
•  Advanced Excel and experience of working with an ERP system.
