A boutique Law Firm in Wellington is looking for a professional Office Administrator to join their high performing team in a front-of-house role.

A boutique Law Firm based in Wellington CBD is looking for a professional and switched on Office Administrator, to be their first point of contact in a front-of-house role. This is a permanent, full-time role supporting a small, but high performing team of lawyers.  

If you are looking to advance your career in the legal support space, this is the role for you as it will inevitably develop your skills and knowledge of the law environment. Other benefits will include working in a modern and collaborative office. 

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-pressure environment, have unparalleled organisational skills and can work independently whilst understanding "team" ethic. You will also be pro-active and not get flustered easily! Experience within the legal space is preferable.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Setting up client meeting rooms and tidying after meetings
  • Managing central email address through Outlook
  • Dictation and copy typing - good typing skills are essential!
  • Drafting legal documentation, including use of programmes such as Auckland District Law Society Precedents System and ConveyIt
  • Answering phones and directing calls/taking messages
  • Greeting clients & showing them to meeting rooms
  • Assisting with conveyancing files
  • Preparing sales notices through Sales Direct
  • Monitoring stationary levels for office and ordering items when required
  • Preparing morning tea for staff daily and ensuring the office is kept tidy at all times
