Litigation Team

The Sydney Commercial Litigation team is regarded as one of Australia's leading practices and includes some of the brightest and most respected practitioners in the market. 
  
They advise on all types of large-scale commercial disputes and are seen globally as the "first port of call" for clients with significant litigious problems. Through integrating their leading litigation capability with their unique full-service offering , they advise clients in every industry sector, ranging from multinational corporations and major financial institutions through to government.
 
Position Description 

This role will see you practising in all spheres of commercial litigation, with exposure to the following types of matters in particular:
  • financial services regulatory litigation
  • contractual disputes
  • shareholder disputes, and
  • (for those that have an interest in that area) perhaps some class actions matters.
This is a great opportunity for a driven and talented commercial litigation lawyer to develop their legal skills, and excel in a friendly and cohesive team. 

Requirements 

You will be a lawyer with between two and five years' experience in commercial litigation. Ideally, you will have experience acting across a broad range of litigious matters, including corporate and commercial litigation.

In addition, you will:   
  • have strong academics
  • have a robust personality
  • have strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills, and
  • be looking to continue building your own professional profile.
