Position Description

The Sydney office of this elite law firm is now looking for a 5 to 8 year lawyer to join their equity capital markets team due to growth within the team.

It’s a close-knit team that will see you work directly with the partner, an experienced senior associate, a third year lawyer and a graduate lawyer.
You will work on a range of ECM and corporate transactions including:
  • private equity and venture capital transactions;
  • IPOs, rights issues and capital raising;
  • advice on the Corporations Act and Listing Rules; and
  • general advice on corporate governance.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an Associate level lawyer looking to step up into a Senior Associate position, or an experience Senior Associate from another leading corporate practice.

  • strong drafting and technical skills; and
  • an ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
