Our client's expanding Real Estate practice is now looking for an experienced Senior Associate. The firm represents an elite client base, including leading Australian and international (Fortune 500) companies, in the property funds and REITS space. 
Real Estate Team
Our client’s Real Estate team is led by a highly regarded partner with extensive experience at highly regarded national law firms. The team represents a wide range of prominent Australian and International clients and provides specialist advice across the Real Estate sector. They specialise in the acquisition, development, financing and sale of commercial, industrial, residential and retail properties. 
The Role
On offer is an opportunity to be mentored by a leading partner with deep experience in all aspects of property-related law in a well resourced team.

In this role you will work on property development; leasing; large scale commercial acquisitions and disposals, financing; construction; and advising on environment and planning matters. You will also work closely with the M&A team on property related matters pertaining to both cross-border and domestic transactions.

Clients include Real Estate Investment Trusts, Property Development Companies, major Corporates and Construction companies.

Key Requirements
To succeed in this role you will have between 5-10 years post admission experience as a property lawyer from either in house or private practice. 

Ideally you will have had exposure to large scale property acquisitions and sales, property development and leasing. 

Our client is open to lawyers on either a full-time or part-time (4 days) basis.
In addition, you will have:
  • An ability to work collaboratively on larger matters;
  • A desire to build and develop effective working client relationships; and
  • Strong legal knowledge and sound judgement
