The firm has one of the major restructuring teams in the UK, with over 130 restructuring and insolvency lawyers who work as part of one of the largest global restructuring teams of any legal practice. 
  
You will support a diverse client base that includes debtors, lenders, government entities, trustees, shareholders, senior executives, as well as distressed debt and asset buyers and investors.

Position Description
  
Due to growth, the London office of this global law firm is looking for an experienced senior associate to join their restructuring & insolvency team. The team are full service, and advise on both front end restructuring matters and related complex litigation.
  
It is a close-knit team that will see you working closely with the firm’s UK head of restructuring as well as the wider group. On offer is a unique opportunity to work across a wide range of high profile and interesting restructuring & insolvency work in a truly collaborative environment.

Requirements
  
The ideal candidate will be a senior associate or special counsel with at least 5 years’ PQE from another leading restructuring & insolvency practice.
  
In addition, you will have:
  • a strong academic record;
  • experience in dealing with high value, complex restructuring and insolvency matters;
  • excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail;
  • strong drafting and technical skills; and
  • an ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
