Position Description 

This is a superb opportunity for a driven and talented employment lawyer who wants to be part of a growing team with genuine progression opportunities within a market-leading practice.

You will work closely with one esteemed partner and gain exposure to all facets of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including complex industrial relations, matters involving trade unions and work councils, complex transactions and restructurings, board-room matters and other strategic issues.

You will gain exposure to clients in a range of industries including banking and finance, aviation, manufacturing, construction, retail, transport, stevedoring, mining, energy, charities and the public sector.

Position Requirements

Our client is looking for a lawyer with 2-5 years' experience from a recognised law firm. You will have broad employment experience with a strong interest in gaining exposure to major matters, however, our client is open to considering quality litigation lawyers looking to enter the space.

From a practical perspective, you will also have a solid academic transcript, have advanced drafting skills, be a team player, be a problem solver, be adaptable and flexible.
