Boutique commercial firm with a strong kiwi client base needs a senior lawyer to take a key role in their property practice.
- Genuine partnership opportunity
- Build on an excellent reputation
- Wide-ranging property practice
A genuine partnership opportunity with a boutique commercial firm based in the CBD. They work closely with growing and established kiwi businesses to help shape their future, and there is also a growing international reputation and client base. There is a strong property workflow and an existing team, so there is already plenty to hang your hat on.
That you are a technically excellent and accomplished property lawyer is a given, but it is the other skills and all-important attitude that will dictate your success in this role. A track record of building strong, lasting client relationships will be top of the wish list, followed closely by a team approach and a realistic, commercial outlook.
The role will suit you if you are confident, self-motivated and keen to further develop your own practice and personal brand. Perhaps you are in partnership already but looking for a more innovative and fast-paced environment, or you may be a Senior Associate who has reached a bottleneck and be looking for a new home to take that next step up. A full client following is not necessary but there should be a fledgling practice with potential to grow, and of course there would be a warm welcome should you have an existing practice.
The firm operates with a clear marketing strategy and business model that will pro-actively support your efforts and help you achieve your goals. The property team already includes an experienced associate and a legal executive.
As part of its long-term commitment to growth and sustainability, the firm walks the walk with a number of CSR initiatives for the benefit of the wider community, as well as an established well-being program closer to home for all staff. The firm invests heavily in technology and believes strongly in a level of connectivity that makes flexible working a reality rather than a promise.
This sort of opportunity does not come up often so it is well worth exploring further. All conversations are in complete confidence of course.
