Our client is a well established residential and commercial builder that has been established on the Gold Coast for many years. They are a  diverse organisation that has won numerous awards in commercial and residential builds and are passionate about creating properties of the highest quality with the best designs in the marketplace . With current projects in both QLD and NSW they have a healthy pipeline of work ahead. 
A position has now become available for an experienced Contracts Administrator to be located on one of their Gold Coast based residential high-rise developments. Working closely with the Project & Site Manager you will be responsible for motivating subcontractors and managing their expectations with regards to payments and claims in accordance with their contractual conditions. With project values up to $100M you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to high value builds with the support of a strong team.
Your responsibilities will include:
    • Assist in project planning and preparation for site construction.
    • Establish and monitor daily/weekly programme/work schedules
    • Manage tender process for subcontractors, including making recommendations to the Project Manager.
    • Document control.
    • Monitor all invoices and progress claims.
    • Monitor and evaluate all subcontractor variation requests.
    • Compile monthly cost and progress reports.
To be successful for this role you will possess the following attributes: 
  • 10+ years as a CA in the residential / commercial construction industry in Australia
  • High rise experience in commercial and residential essential
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Have excellent accuracy & attention to detail 
  • Be able to negotiate and have good communication skills
  • Degree qualified in a related discipline
