This is a global company with 50-60 people in Australia. Although they are involved in the industrial engineering space, they are very tech & digital-savvy. They have 4 digital platforms that this role will manage as well as a host of up-and-coming hardware/software integrations (IoT). Head Office is based in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. Modern Business Park location with onsite parking. 
We are looking for an enthusiastic, data-driven marketer to drive high impact acquisition and growth strategies, and digital marketing optimisation of paid, organic and owned digital marketing channels.
Reporting to the General Manager, and managing a small internal team, the ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years’ industry experience, ideally some of that would be with an engineering or industrial style business. 
The role will be looking after the Digital Marketing success of the Australia and New Zealand markets and it is 95% Digital Marketing and 5% IT support (things like helping people set up their new laptops or liaise with the Tech Support in the US).
They have a few different digital platforms they are using, some of those are WordPress. They have decided to move to Sitecore as their main platform of choice. There is no programming, just content loading, optimising searches and rankings. This role will be key to making sure the business units are always ranking highly in Google.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Data Studio and marketing analytics reporting (PowerBI, Google Tag Manager)
  • Proficiency with data-driven SEO analysis and optimisation and tools such as Ahrefs or SEMrush
  • Demonstratable experience generating traffic and conversions with Marketing Automation Platforms such as HubSpot & ClickDimensions
  • Proficiency with retargeting, paid social campaigns (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more), and content distribution and placement networks
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, Computer Science or Engineering discipline would also be ideal but not essential
  • .NET CMS experience a must (Sitecore, Kentico, Umbraco)
  • Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
