The company:

Founded in 2013, Iconic Offices is now the largest flexible workspace provider in the Irish market. A new project manager role has been created to play a key role in our next phase of growth. The role will be varied and will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to gain an invaluable mix of experience. Iconic has grown significantly year on year since inception, the successful candidate must have a willing attitude and be open to changes in the working environment as the company continues to grow. The company currently has a portfolio of 16 locations across Dublin 2 and Dublin 8.

The role:

The project manager will be responsible for the successful development and
delivery of all internal projects. You will lead various types of projects in order to drive growth. You will ensure the delivery of all project objectives through to
completion. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has extensive
experience in project management and someone who can work across several
projects at the one time whilst also actively working and overseeing tasks with
the internal steering group, managing expectations and performance
throughout each project. This role will report directly to the Chief Property
Officer (CPO) and will be a cross-functional role working closely with the
operations, HR, marketing & finance departments.

Responsibilities: 
  • Overall management of all ongoing projects
  • Preparation & facilitation of internal and executive presentations related to project scope timeline, activities, issues, budget and progress as required
  • Works closely with the internal steering group and overseeing performance
  • Proactively working on tasks related to projects
  • Works closely with senior resources in other departments to define the
  • scope of project
  • Prepares all necessary documentation to formally initiate a project  and monitor project development
  • Facilitates team meetings to communicate progress, status, issues, assignments and escalations
  • Documenting reviews of on-going projects, meetings, work sessions, action- registers
  • Leads and collaborates on elaboration of business cases to support project scope and/or monetary investment whilst representing the interests of the company
  • Manages project budget including all billing and accounting of costs
  • Leads and monitors change management, communication and training
  • activities related to the project to ensure a successful company roll out
  • Ensures that quality standards are adhered to and that projects are completed on time, on scope and on budget
  • Closely monitors timelines and project cost to ensure adherence with approved project plans
  • Variances to plan will be documented, communicated, reported, and escalated if required
  • Manages the work efforts and budgets provided for third party providers and consultants should they be required
  • Escalates issues and risks to the property director to ensure that possible workarounds or financial actions will be implemented
  • Assumes responsibility and ownership for project initiatives and has a great deal of accountability
  • Leads post project activities and evaluations
  • Ensures the aims of the project are achieved and quality standards are met

Requirements:

  • MSc Qualified or Degree Qualified in Project management is essential
  • and required for this role.
  • A minimum of 5+ years proven Project Management experience with the ability to manage several projects in a cross-functional role.
  • Project management experience within an industry or organization preferred.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills required
  • Ability to lead teams effectively by maximizing team member's skills and abilities.
  • Effective presentation skills and relationship building skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to make decisions and act with accountability
  • Ability to time manage and prioritise workloads
  • Strong aptitude to recognize opportunities for improvement and take appropriate action
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
