Permanent role for an experienced Assistant Accountant or Bookkeeper

My Client, a not for profit based just south of Perth CBD is looking for an Assistant Accountant or Bookkeeper. They are a small team of 4, with this role reporting directly to the Financial Controller. This role requires someone highly adaptable and willing to assist with other tasks when necessary. 



Duties:
  • Manage the debtors ledger, making collection calls where necessary
  • Accounts receivable processing
  • Maintenance of cash flow
  • Management of the GL 
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with weekly payroll of approx 50 employees
  • Assist the Financial Controller with monthly reporting
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assist with AP when required


Skills & Experienced:
  • 3-5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Qualified to degree or certificate level
  • Previous experience using MYOB or Xero is desirable but not essential
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
