Sitecore Solution Architect

Dentsu Aegis Network

Leading and implementing the creation of innovative, best-practice technical solutions to complex problems.

Isobar Australia is an award winning creative agency with digital at our heart. We're made up of a team of passionate digital specialists in websites, strategy, analytics, experience design, social media, online advertising, digital marketing campaigns, games, video and print. We have a singular aim to create climates for brands and people to thrive. In so doing, we create better experiences - for ourselves, for our clients and for the world.
As a solution architect at Isobar your role involves both technical and client-facing responsibilities. First and foremost you are a technical leader and mentor to the wider development team. You are able to rapidly develop cutting edge Sitecore solutions, using industry best practices, on the latest versions of Sitecore, including a core focus on reuse, efficiency and leveraging cloud capabilities.
In addition, you will be involved in client-facing activities including providing technical guidance for responses to tenders, working with existing clients to help understand and solve their problems at a technical level, as well as architectural solution work, implementation of proofs-of-concept and devops related tasks such as provisioning cloud infrastructure and working with build and deployment pipelines.
You have considerable experience across multiple versions of Sitecore and will work closely with senior developers, Technical Leads and the national Sitecore Practice Lead, helping to lead and support world-class Sitecore and .NET/C# projects for some of Australia's largest brands.
Excellent analytical and development skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are a must-have, as is an ability to think, operate and communicate at both a technical and non-technical level.
The team is a highly skilled, cross-functional team who are passionate about their craft, pushing boundaries, following best practices and creating exceptional experiences. We are looking for someone who loves working with the latest technology, the cloud, and thrives on pushing the boundaries of what is achievable. A critical focus is on driving reuse, efficiency and best practice, on doing what our clients expect of us without them having to tell us.
You will be working closely with not only other developers (front- and back-end), but also with UX and UI designers, analysts, and clients to help them to bring amazing ideas to life using agile design and development and cutting edge Sitecore solutions. You'll have a thorough understanding of the web development life-cycle and will assist the team on projects from ideation through to delivery. You'll also have a keen thirst to be constantly learning about new technology that we can bring to our clients, and as our Sitecore practice builds in the future you will be a critical member in helping to shape the future of that team and the work it produces for our clients.
