Head of Analysis

Our client is looking to hire a Head of Analysis to lead a talented Analysis and Service Design team on a permanent basis.

This highly visible role will require a lateral thinker with demonstrable experience in leading high performing and cross functional teams, developing and implementing robust analytics and design frameworks. 

As a member of an established leadership team, this role represents a rare opportunity for a seasoned Business Analysis professional to influence at a management level whilst building a high performing and dedicated team. 

Key deliverables include: 
  • Developing and implementing Business Analytics and Service Design standard procedures in a complex, highly visible operational environment
  • Ensuring appropriate strategic workforce management strategies are in place to build team capability and enable appropriate career paths
  • Build a genuine practice culture: establishing mindset, ways of working, and ensuring teams are always aware of the ‘big picture’
  • Act as a valued member of the leadership team, steering committees and governance groups as required, contributing to strategic goals and objectives cross-functionally
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining existing portfolio credibility and strategic direction
  • Match talent pools with appropriate projects and deliverables
  • Manage the recruitment process for permanent, fixed term, and contract resource   
You will need to have: 
  • At least ten years in a senior leadership role, preferably with recent experience in an analysis or design environment
  • A strong ability to influence at board and executive level
  • The desired technical knowledge to take highly complex conceptual problems and articulate them to non-technical audiences
  • The ability to set direction based on strategy, engaging others with a clear direction, goals and targets
  • The ability to effectively manage and influence a broad and varied stakeholder group  
This role will be broad, influential, all-encompassing and challenging, so an ability to build key relationships and set standards early for future success will be crucial in the first 6-12 months.
