The position:

Work effectively across a number of specialist teams to provide general administrative and secretarial support. You will typically be ‘floated’ to a team with a high workload or one that has a team member away. This will provide you with a great generalist understanding across many areas of the law and ensure that each week is varied with different work and new learnings.
  
This role would suit a Legal Assistant who is interested in upskilling or a Legal Secretary who enjoys the challenge of working in a floating capacity.
  
The firm work with a number of high-profile clients and therefore require a proactive individual with excellent attention to detail who is capable of:  
  • Clearing authors baskets at regular intervals and processing the work
  • Drafting correspondence/documents and completing tasks in a timely manner
  • Managing diaries and informing authors of changes to appointments and/or commitments
  • Ensuring that efficient cover of all solicitors is effectively maintained
  • General administration duties such as answering the phone, organising appointments and ensuring the billing process are up to date
It is essential that you also have a good command of the English language and the ability to interact with partners, staff and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
