One Tree Community Services is a not for profit organisation that supports community services and child care centres throughout Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Victoria.
One Tree Community Services offers an extensive early education program and preschool program in this 45 place service. The rooms are light filled, purpose built and allow the children to explore and investigate both indoor and outdoor classrooms. The service caters for 0 - 5 year old children from 06:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.  The teachers and educators in the service are passionate and work hard to deliver the quality service that our children and families deserve.

The Little Diggers Defence Childcare Centre is currently recruiting for an ECT/EL to join the team in Moorebank, NSW. This is a unique permanent opportunity (working 37.5hrs/week)for you to come on a journey with us and make your mark in our Defence Care Childcare centres and have a positive impact on the local community. There is a clear career progression opportunity for this position to be appointed as a 2IC with proper experience and training.

About the role: 
  • To design, implement and evaluate programs for children, which meet the Centre Philosophy and Policies, Government Regulations and Quality Assurance Principles;
  • To ensure the environment in which children learn and play is clean, hygienic and safe; 
  • To communicate effectively with children, families and the wider community;   
  • To work as an effective team member; 
  • To follow Centre Policy and Government Legislation in providing a safe and hygienic environment for children and staff;   
  • To participate in the Operational Management of the service where required; 
  • To provide email and phone support as an ECT to other One Tree Services as required.
About you:
  • Early Childhood Teaching qualification (essential)
  • Valid Working with Children Check (essential)
  • Strong leadership skills 
  • Solid understanding of Early Years Learning Framework
  • Sound communication skills, written and verbal
  • Passionate about pedagogy
  • An advocate for children and their rights (essential)
