Our client is looking for a Resource Management Planner to join their awesome team in Auckland.

Having long term and a wide variety of work for you to be involved with, including residential subdivisions, government and commercial developments. You'll have the support from experienced Planning colleagues to help you learn and grow and have some great development opportunities. This Planner role processes resource consent applications and formulates and documents sound decisions in relation to these applications in accordance with the requirements of the Resource Management Act. 

This is an opportunity to work on some exciting and ever changing projects.
To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate: 
  • Around 4 years of resource Management planning experience in a range of related planning organisations 
  • Hold full NZPI membership or hold a Resource Management planning or related degree that gives access to full membership 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, sound time management and organisational skills and be passionate about resource management planning 
  • Comfortable dealing with clients to include high profile national entities, local organisations, councils and individuals
  • Prepare reports on particular planning issues or projects as directed
  • Demonstrated ability to present topics to the public, professionals, at hearings (including preferably the Environment Court) and at meetings.
