The opportunity

Employsure has experienced astonishing growth over the last 9 years! Our award winning HR/WHS & SAAS solution has seen us obtain over 27,000 clients, grow to over 880 employees and 5 offices across ANZ. This in turn has created exciting opportunities within our Consultancy team!  
As a H&S/Upsell Consultant, you will conduct preliminary employment and safety compliance checks for a variety of SMEs. You will use your commercial and technical skills to engage with business owners around their needs, whilst also using solution-selling techniques to make the appropriate upsell recommendations for their membership services. 
While the day to day work in this role will be a hybrid of sales and service, this is ultimately a sales position so the successful applicant must be comfortable and confident to have sales conversations and have their salary largely linked to a commission structure. You must also be be comfortable with the current workplace relations framework in Australia including the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and Work Health and Safety legislation.

Key accountabilities
  • Travelling to SME sites every day to assess their current ER and WHS documents and practices to identify gaps and demonstrate how the Employsure service can resolve these
  • Building relationships and creating yourself as the subject matter expert for all things ER & WHS to our clients
The right person will have:
  • Tertiary qualified in Human Resources / ER &/or Work Health and Safety
  • 12 months experience working within an ER &/or health and safety environment
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • full, unrestricted NZ driving licence
  • be able to travel interstate from time to time and work autonomously
