Long term contracting opportunity for an experienced Program Test Manager. Stakeholder management & people skills are key to this role.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior or Program Test Manager to join a Top Tier Bank in Sydney in Open banking and NPP domain.      
This platform will act as an entry point to several large IT portfolios within this banking organisation in which you will be responsible for the coordination and governance across QA and Release Management for these key Programs of work.   

  • 3-5 years' experience working as a Program Test Manager
  • Experienced in working alongside Senior Leaders and ability to influence at a senior level with IT and the Business. I.e. Senior Manager, General Manager, Head of Technology (HOT) etc.
  • Strong experience across Wealth domain including Open Banking and NPP and proficient working knowledge of compliance (APRA, ASIC).
  • Develop and maintain program level testing strategies and plans that utilise testing best practice
  • Strong knowledge of emerging technologies, i.e. DevOps, Microservices, Cloud, WSO2.
  • Experience working across key testing service areas including SIT, UAT, API, Automation & Performance testing.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, Coordinate, empower QA teams for successful delivery
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills governing System integrators in a relatively 'Greenfields' environments.
  • Pragmatic approach towards testing with ability to think laterally and work within typical program constraints. I.e. time, cost / financial, resourcing. 
  • Advanced negotiation skills with ability to work alongside Senior stakeholders, with focus on quality outcomes for the Program.
  • Risk management expertise reviewing key impact areas and identifying the best delivery approach with appropriate mitigations / solutions to support delivery. 
  • Proactive approach to stakeholder engagement leveraging distributed business teams and SME's.
  • Planning expertise working on a program with multiple concurrent projects, components & dependencies
  • Experience working with Large-scale compliance programs that involves the regulator or a governing body.
  • Experience in change management, Release Management, Configuration Management and dealing with difficult stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall Methodologies.
