About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a capable, highly organised, and efficient Parts Supervisor to join our Parts Department based in Rockhampton, Reporting directly to the Parts Manager. The primary function is to oversee the Rockhampton Parts warehouse operations, ensuring safety, customer service and support for Caterpillar equipment is upheld.
In this varied and interesting role, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Working Monday to Friday
  • Communicate, demonstrate and ensure commitment to oneHD vision and values and operational priorities
  • Build and maintain customer relationship – recognise and report possible opportunities, minimise and eliminate points of friction and resolve or escalate disputes promptly
  • Provide cost effective support representation/relations for Caterpillar Equipment
  • Maintaining good communication and working relations within the business centre, the company and customers
  • Maintain parts systems functions
  • Parts Personnel Supervision
  • Align goal setting, work plans, budget & resource allocation with plan & group/organisation goals
  • Ensure safety management systems are implemented and monitored for the team
  • Ensure team members have clear, current and measurable goals and objectives
  • Ensure investigations for incidents are proactively managed and resolutions are achieved within designated timeframes
  • Maintain strong communication and working relations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide regular team briefings, 1:1 coaching and individual development plans to enhance team
About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
  • Minimum Five years’ experience within warehousing or a similar role
  • Significant exposure to customer service in the warehousing and distribution industry
  • Previous industry experience in heavy machinery, mining, building or construction
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt in a changing environment with a high level of accuracy, efficiency and prioritisation
  • Intermediate computer skills working with Microsoft Office, Excel, systems and data bases
  • High level of motivation and confidence with strong interpersonal skills along with a focus on customer service
  • Proven stakeholder and customer engagement with a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism and confidence
