About the Role:
Hastings Deering is currently recruiting for a Digital Product Consultant to be based in Archerfield, Brisbane. This is a 12-month Full Time Fixed Term contract working Monday to Friday role. We are looking for someone with impeccable work ethics who likes to learn, seize opportunities and take responsibility for achieving excellence whilst working as part of a great team.
This role will be key in the success of the Digital Transformation of all Sime Darby Industrial Caterpillar dealerships (Hastings Deering, Tractors Malaysia, Tractors Singapore, The China Engineers, Terra Cat).
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:
  • Lead in the creation of Digital Solutions and manage application development roadmaps
  • Identify digital product and service opportunities in alignment with Sime Darby Industrial’s strategic business plan
  • Partner with the digital deployment teams across all dealerships to identify opportunities and determine digital roadmaps
  • Support digital leadership teams at each dealership to define business priorities
  • Assist business areas in quantifying business benefits for implementation of digital products
  • Manage development of reports to measure digital deployment, adoption and business benefits.
  • Deliver presentations to internal customers and external partners/vendors on suite of digital products
  • Educate internal and external customers on business opportunities for business intelligence (BI) reporting, robotic process automation (RPA) and artificial intelligence (AI)
About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
  • Passion for digital innovation, proactive and results driven
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, agile experience desirable
  • Experience working in business consulting, operational or customer facing roles
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or Engineering highly desirable
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking to simplify complex pain points and opportunities
  • Strong business communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to deal with and influence stakeholders at all levels within an organization
  • Experience in digital solutions ideation to launch process highly desirable
  • Experience in heavy equipment industry would be desirable
