Clinical Lead role at an 80 bed Aged Care Facility | Not for profit | A pleasant building with gardens - running smoothly | Close knit team

The Position:
Lead the care team at an 80 bed Aged Care Facility on the Mid North Coast. As the Care Manager you will: 
  • Ensure that clinical needs are met, understood clearly by the team, and agreed by the resident and their family. 
  • You will ensure that the team communicate effectively with each other, feel well supported by yourself and the rest of the team, and have a joint focus on the residents standard of care and happiness.
  • Form, review and update care plans. 
  • Support optimising ACFI. 
  • Support the Facility Manager with the overall running of the home and budgets.
Key Information: 
  • Salary in the region of $100,000 + superannuation + salary packaging.
  • This is a smooth running home, which is due for accreditation next year and not expecting any issues. 
  • The team gel really well together with a mix of long standing and newer Nurses.
  • The home accesses additional support from ACFI, Education, and Quality Specialists working for the organisation. 
  • The home itself is in good condition surrounded by gardens. It has a secure dementia care unit. 
  • Boutique not-for-profit aged care provider, which has each of its homes running well.  
Requirements:
  • AHPRA registered - Division 1 Registered Nurse. 
  • Prior experience in a Care Manager position in Residential Aged Care.
  • Experience with accreditation processes and ACFI.
  • Solid knowledge and experience working under the new aged care standards.
