The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for a Care Manager to gain commissioning experience working alongside the Facility Manager and Head Office team.

In the initial stage of this position you will have the opportunity to familiarise with the organisation's policies, procedures and processes. You will be actively involved in the recruitment of your care team. You will work with the Facility Manager through the commissioning process in preparation for the opening.  

Once the home opens, you will oversee the care team to ensure the delivery of person-centred quality care to residents. You will lead a positive working environment, where staff communicate effectively.  

Key Information
  • In the region of $115,000 package + access salary packaging.
  • Medium sized Nursing Home within a Village in South West Sydney. 
  • Well established not-for-profit Aged Care provider with a large portfolio of facilities. 
  • Dementia unit on site. 
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration - Division 1 Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Care Manager in Residential Aged Care.
  • Demonstrated experience with Aged Care legislation, ACFI and the Accreditation process under the new standards.
