IBP Process Specialist - 3 Year Contract
This role will be responsible for the scoping, design and implementation of a best-in-class IBP organization, process and system. This role will support Zespri’s modern systems and process workstream of our transformation project.
The Modern Systems and Processes Workstream (Project Horizon) is one of the key transformational initiatives that evolved from the Operating Model Must Win - approved by the Zespri Board in February 2019. The objective of the workstream is to drive increased scalability, insight generation and global consistency across the broader Zespri international environment. More than any other Operating Model initiatives, Horizon will fundamentally change the way we work and our access to, and provision of information and data across the business.
  • Provide input to the Value Stream Lead on the current and future information and process needs and data requirements of our multi-functional teams
  • Help evaluate the proposed changes in process and new systems
  • Coordinate the communication to and change management required for the markets the SME represents throughout the project
  • Take responsibility for resolution and closing of action items identified in the project
  • Support key Global Demand tasks from a system and process perspective on Go Live to the new IBP solution, transitioning this across to the team thereafter.
  • Identifying key reporting requirements for IBP teams and ensuring any existing reports are able to be migrated/replaced in the new IBP and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) environment.
  • Review and provide input into technical documentation (i.e. user guides), training manuals and system specifications and ensure the solution is accurately represented.
  • Assess, analyze, develop, document and implement changes based on requests for change.
  • Liaise with IBP Value Stream Lead on release scheduling and communication of progress.
  • Understand and articulate issues from the global market teams, finance requirements as well as constraints from a supply planning perspective.  
Qualifications and Experience:    
  • Tertiary qualification preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations or Management
  • Relevant Operational Demand and Supply planning experience of > 5 years
  • Mid-senior experience across IBP processes and practices (either internal Zespri or external)
  • Experience with end-to-end IBP systems and technical solutions (e.g. IBP SAP)
  • Expertise IBP and broader operational intersections and process, to identify shortcomings in our current processes and practices
  • Experience in working in multi-functional, cultural groups and dealing in different geographies.
  • Capable to build a true relation of trust with both commercial and supply chain partners
  • Good communication and clear decision-making capabilities
