Back In Motion Eltham is a well-established practice with an excellent reputation in the local community. We have trustworthy referral relationships with local GP’s, sporting clubs and health specialists. We are dedicated to providing outstanding clinical outcomes and assisting our clients fulfill their health and wellness potential. Our 500 sq metre facility includes 10 consult rooms, a state of the art pilates / clinical exercise studio, large gym, shower and VALD assessment equipment (Nordbord, Force Frame, Force Decks and Humantrak).
The successful applicant for this role will join a multi-disciplinary team of 11 clinicians that includes a titled Sports Physiotherapist, titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, post-graduate qualified Physiotherapists across Sport, Musculoskeletal and Women’s Health plus a Myotherapist and Dietitian. You will also benefit from the opportunity to collaborate with with our large network of experienced practitioners across Australia and New Zealand.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and confident experienced Physiotherapist or Osteopath, who is keen to make a difference in the lives of people within our community. Being a large practice we have the capacity to create roles with the right skill set and interest areas to suit our clinicians – sports physiotherapy, rehabilitation (ACL rehab, tendon rehab, falls n balance, GLA:D, Onero, Pinc and Steel), clinical exercise / pilates and manual therapy.
As a senior practitioner you will also mentor junior and graduate practitioners and help drive overall performance of the practice by collaborating with the practice director. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative learning environment, that provides both in-house and external professional development opportunities and you will be fully supported in your ambition to further develop your career.
- Physiotherapy or Osteopathy degree qualified with full AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 3 years private practice experience
- Solid rehabilitation skills in the gym. You are a gym attendee yourself
- An interest in end stage rehabilitation
- A mindset that desires wellness and performance NOT just the absence of pain
- A goal to complete further studies in titling, masters or pHD
- Punctual, organised, motivated and proactive with a high EQ
- An ability to independently build a caseload and self-market via your own network and social media following
