Plan B Recruitment is excited to partner with this leading Energy retailer on their journey to find a contract-based HR Generalist.  We are looking for a switched-on individual who is keen to excel in this highly visible role within the organisation.

Working with leaders and staff at this multi-faceted organisation, this role is critical to the ongoing development of culture and employee experience and engagement; with a particular focus on workplace investigations/staff behaviour. Reporting to the Head of HR Advisory Services, you will be required to undertake the practical application of knowledge and expertise in a variety of areas including, but not limited to:
  • Employee performance & development
  • Solving HR-related matters with staff and teams
  • Hiring entry-level clerical and production employees.
  • Placing internal and external ads, screening candidates
  • Investigating and resolving benefit claims.
  • Developing and modifying training programs.
  • Handling administrative components of employee changes/movements
  • Deliver HR/Recruitment reports
  • Advises line managers on personnel procedures and precedents.
Much of your day will be handling HR-related issues on a case-by-case basis. Your ability to see the big picture and prioritise your time will be highly regarded.  You will need 3-5 years of experience in the provision of HR consultancy advice in a large & complex environment (Energy sector a bonus, but not a necessity).
 
Your ability to gain trust and manage relationships through a demonstrated knowledge of industrial legislation and employment will hold you in good stead, and HR Degree qualified candidates will be highly regarded.

Interviews are due to begin immediately, and the right person will need to be able to start in August or early September. This role is on a temporary contract for 3 months, with possible further employment opportunities. The hours of works are from 8.30am to 5.00pm.
