The Role:
This is a contract position as an Accounts Payable Officer in a small finance team.  You will be working in a busy accounts payable role in a business that places a lot of emphasis on providing strong customer service to its stakeholders and clients.  The role requires strong attention to detail and would suit someone that is a problem solver by nature.  You will be processing invoices and a point of contact for the business regarding AP inquiries.

The organisation is keen to encourage innovation at all levels and this role would suit someone that can analyse and review a process and offer insight to management on possible ways to improve it.

This is a busy role that would suit someone with commitment and a team focus. This is an initial contract for 3 months that has the potential to extend depending on the needs of the business and your success within the role.

The salary on offer is between $60k and $80k depending on experience.

Your skills and experience:
You have demonstrated previous experience in accounts payable – this is non-negotiable and a firm prerequisite for this role.  Without previous AP experience you will not succeed and you will not be considered for this role. 

You are an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident and have a keen understanding of what is involved in terms of providing excellent customer service.  You also have great communication skills with the confidence to liaise at all levels of an organisation.
