The Opportunity:
Join the strategic communications team of a large Federal Government agency that contributes to Australia’s sustainable energy and environmental strategy. Working closely with subject matter experts, you will be responsible for publishing digital content across multiple communication channels. You will analyse and collaborate on new initiatives to increase engagement.
The team are seeking an APS5 and APS6 to join their team on a 6-month labour hire contract. Applicants from both public and private sector will be considered and are encouraged to apply.

Key Duties will include:
  • Coordinate and publish content across multiple channels including websites, email newsletters, internal communications intranet, and social media
  • Provide administration and support for the delivery of digital focussed projects
  • Monitor and respond to internal and external client inquiries and build on existing relationships
  • Analyse and implement new strategic initiatives to create engaging digital content
Your Skills and Experience:   
  • Proven experience working in a digital communications based position
  • Demonstrated experience writing creative communications material for multiple channels, in particular social media
  • Strong writing capabilities with previous experience interpreting complex information and translating it into clear and concise language
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

You must be eligible to obtain a baseline clearance. You will also need to obtain an Australian Police check should you be successful.
