Due to business growth a global freight forwarder is looking to employ a Customer Service representative to handle a diverse portfolio of clients


Due to business growth a global freight forwarder looking to employ a Customer Service representative to handle a diverse portfolio of accounts and offer exceptional service. To be considered for this role you must have local freight forwarding experience within import sea freight.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Handling general customer enquiries and query resolution
  • P/O management
  • Status reports
  • Formulating and submitting client quotations
  • Liaising with overseas offices, internal departments, vendors and clients
  • Attending client visits with sales staff and management as required
  • Provide import, export and brokerage operational support
Role Requirements:
  • International freight forwarding and/or customer service experience essential
  • Cargowise EDI experience distinctly preferred
  • Computer literacy in MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral
  • Attention to detail
  • High level of integrity and dependability
  • Ability to prioritise and follow through
  • Relaxed and hands-on by nature
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to team outcomes
  • High degree of flexibility and change recognition
