Our client, one of New Zealand’s most exciting organisations is seeking a Property and Facilities Manager to join their Property team on a fixed term 12 month maternity cover.

The Property and Facilities Manager will achieve the following outcomes:
  • Ensure professional day to day contact is achieved with our client's business units to address their property needs
  • Working collaboratively with Regional General Managers and the Infrastructure team to identify any issues requiring urgent remediation
  • Prepare forecasts, asset management programmes and plans (including maintenance schedules)
  • Provide property management support to regional managers, the Regional Trust Board and Area Committees to ensure property strategies are appropriately developed and aligned with the National Property Strategy
  • Work collaboratively with Regional General Managers in supporting property projects and identifying risks within regional portfolios
  • Ensure all properties are compliant with all statutory requirements, through regular inspections and risk identification with recommendations for treatment/control
Key to your success will be your proven minimum 5 years experience in a property management role in large, complex organisations over multiple sites. 

In addition to this you will have:
  • Qualification in a property related field
  • Able to apply an up to date knowledge of New Zealand property law, building regulations, property management systems and health, safety requirements
  • Knowledge of planning and consent requirements and processes, especially local government requirements, to help expedite approved regional initiatives.
  • Proven success in implementing strategy and operationalising associated property projects, monitoring and reporting on progress to achieve their effective end to end management.
  • Excellent and demonstrated listening, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, including report-writing for Boards and Committees, with the ability to deliver/facilitate group presentations, focus groups and meetings.
