The Company

A leading New Zealand owned company who are an importer of quality home textile products and well known brands across the New Zealand market. Due to one of their team moving onto raise a family, they are looking for a highly organised Production Coordinator to join their exciting and fun team based in Auckland on a six month contract.

The opportunity 

Originally for a six month contract and working closely alongside the Supply Chain, Sales and Creative departments, you will take responsibility for coordination tasks from new product development right through to supplier negotiation, costings onto tracking workflows through to completion with offshore suppliers. You will be a crucial link in the business to supply the sales team with timelines, information and costings on all new developments with their ranges and to ensure all new products and lines are up to quality for customer approval. The role will also see you working with the shipping team to track deliveries and keep the team up to date across the process.Your suppliers will be located across several overseas countries.
