  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of a client focused Physiotherapy services, acute, subacute, Prehab, Rehab, in Warracknabeal and surrounds, including acting as a resource on Physiotherapy and provide health promotion
  • Work closely with General Practitioners, other allied health, medical specialists, nursing staff and physio students to provide a high quality care throughout a wide variety of local health care services
  • Complete Comprehensive Functional Assessments for all clients
  • Provide holistic Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy services based on patient centred goals,
    ADL assessments and strategies to promote independence in the home
  • Falls management and individual “hands on” rehabilitation
  • Falls prevention, strength and balance training in Home Care and Residential Care
  • Educational initiatives, ensuring easy access to professional development opportunities

  • Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent
  • Registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Physiotherapy Board
  • Current Police record Check
  • Proven experience in the delivery of Physiotherapy services in a subacute or community setting, including facilitation of client self-management strategies
  • Demonstrably excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven high level organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise a diverse caseload
  • Experience in the review and development of Physiotherapy services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of services in line with evidence-based practice
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Willingness and eligibility to register with Medicare to obtain a private provider number
  • Experience in provision of clinical supervision and support to Physiotherapy staff/ students and Allied Health Assistants
  • Experience in delegation of therapy programs to Allied Health Assistants
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Ability to work independently or part of a multi-disciplinary team
