Seeking a highly experienced Facility Manager to lead a multiskilled team and manage several medium sized Aged Care Facilities, in the Western suburbs

The Role:
  
This senior management role offers an opportunity for an experienced Aged Care Facility Manager to initially oversee a medium facility, then step up to manage several local facilities. Reporting to the Regional Manager, your proven experience and passion for Aged Care will see you effectively lead and coordinate a team of nursing professionals, in maintaining these fully accredited facilities. You will possess a sound knowledge of ACFI, the accreditation standards, evaluation systems, policies & procedures to ensure compliance and performance benchmarks and budgets are adhered to.

Responsibilities:  
  • To ensure the successful operation and delivery of service to the residents within the framework and guidance of Service/organisation policy and procedure;
  • To promote the principles of ‘best practice’ and drive the continuous improvement activities of Service/organisation.
  Requirements:   
  • Be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
  • Previous experience in Aged Care Management – 5 years
  • Tertiary qualifications in Gerontology and/or Business Management
  • Proven experience of team leadership
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality management systems
  • Confident and competent in managing own responsibilities & priorities as well as the team
  • Possess strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial budget and ensure overall profit result is achieved
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) as well as Age Care Accreditation & Legislation policies
  • Experience in staff recruitment, rostering and performance management
  • Demonstrated high level of computer literacy such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Aged Care programs.
