Full Job Description

Currently looking for a high performing, experienced Facility Support Manager who will be responsible to support Aged Care facilities in NSW and QLD. This organisation has been established for more than 70 years and provides extensive services to the aged throughout NSW & QLD. They pride themselves on having a strong management structure and offering high quality service. 
 
The Role
 
Essentially you will provide support for facility management by mentoring them in the provision of high-quality care and services to residents and a positive environment for staff. The successful applicant will have the full support of a highly experienced Operations Management team. This will be a one-year fixed Term Contract position.
 
In addition you will:
  • Ensure policies and procedures of the company are followed
  • Travel throughout NSW & QLD
  • Build and maintain relationships with management and staff
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, staff, management, agencies and clients
  • Provide leadership and push for continuous improvement - ensuring compliance and managing audits
  • Manage financials and familiarity with human resource management
  • Assistance with education and training
  • Comply with workplace health and safety
  • Take on rostering and recruitment
  • Support facilities as and when required acting as facility manager on occasions as requested by the management, to cover leave 
Key Selection Criteria 
  • Must be an APHRA registered nurse
  • Experience in aged care management
  • Demonstrated experience with Accreditation and Aged Care funding (ACFI)
  • Demonstrated experience in operation management within a residential aged care setting
  • Flexibility in shifts and travel
  • Committed to quality improvements, WHS principles and education
  • Mentoring and teaching skill
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously
  • An understanding of compliance with State and Regulatory requirements
  • Skills in time management and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Current Police Check required
  • Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents Only
